MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM MISSY MALONE & FRIENDS!

Due to moving house I have been without internet for the last couple of weeks so here is a bumper edition!

Since my last blog there has been two "Missy Malone & Friends Burlesque Revue - Christmas Specials!" one at our Edinburgh home "The Voodoo Rooms" on 8th December and one at "Norden Farm Center for the Arts" in Maidenhead on the 21st December!

They were both full houses and everyone got into the festive spirit! Here is a few snaps by www.silverphotography.co.uk capturing the Edinburgh show!

Merry Christmas from all of us at "The Missy Malone & Friends Burlesque Revue"!

TWINS OF EVIL

Last Thursday I took a well deserved break from packing and headed to Birmingham to catch the "Twins of Evil" tour 2012 - Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie. I treated my gal Leyla Rose to a ticket for her birthday so it was a perfect excuse for us to spend some quality time together over cocktails, burritos and our favourite rock star (Rob Zombie)!

What a night! Marylin Manson was still in good form but he was far from the Manson I saw back in 2003 on the Grotesk Burlesk Tour. But I was a big fan of his all through my teens, so I always enjoy seeing him.

Rob Zombie blew the bloody roof off!! His stage shows are always something to behold and this was really no exception! I am a life long fan and have never grown out of his music. Here are a few snaps to give you an idea! (Professional shots taken by Iain Purdie)

FAREWELL LA REVE & HAPPY BIRTHDAY DR SKETCHY'S

Last Friday I had the enormous pleasure of performing at the last ever "La Reve" at Cafe De Paris in London. I  feel lucky to have had the privilege of performing at four of their shows and I was honoured to perform at their farewell event. I look forward to seeing what incarnation and new home it takes in the future!

The following day I headed to Birmingham to help celebrate "Dr Sketchy's Birmingham" 4th Birthday! The theme of the event was a Tribute to Tim Burton! As a huge fan of his work I had been looking forward to this for a LONG time! Each model posed as a character for one of his films. I chose to become Sweeny Todd for the day! It was so much fun and I loved seeing all the characters come to life! I was posing along side Sandy Sure as Beetlejuice, Frankie Lynn as Lydia Deetz, Kitten Von Mew as Corpse Bride and Suzie Sequin as Sally (Nightmare before Christmas). I even managed to do a few sketches myself which was a real treat!

Last week I headed to Leeds to shoot the fabulous www.20thcenturyfoxy.com 's "1950's" Party Ware Collection, just in time for the festive party season! We had a fabulous time recreating some iconic poses made famous by one of my favourite inspirations, Marilyn Monroe!

I also was treated to a fabulous hairdo by www.bethanyjanedavies.com , she is a master of vintage hair and make up, look her up!

Here is a sneaky peek behind the scenes:
