UP NORTH

Last week love was in the air and I was spoilt rotten on Valentines day with not one but TWO beautiful bouquets of flowers! I reciprocated by cooking Dave a fillet steak and home made brownies!

Way to a girls heart....

....way to a boy's heart!

The next morning, bright and early I headed to Leeds to shoot for a top secret campaign for a big brand (more details coming soon!) I was treated like a princess on set and afterwards and was lucky enough to be put up for the night in the Malmaison in Leeds, which was beautiful!

Here is a little sneak peak from the shoot to keep you guessing!

I spent the next day wandering around Leeds and the surrounding areas, checking out what the charity shops had to offer! I got a great haul and it was beautiful day for it!

LEEDS

That evening I was performing at the Wonderful "Wet Spot" in Leeds where I am now proud to be the new resident dancer! It was a wonderful sell out show as always and the stonking line up included, Gwendoline L'Amour, Velma Von Bon Bon, Jeu Jeu Foille, Dusty Limits and The Great Aziz! Always so nice to hang out with such familiar faces!

Live at The Wet Spot!
The next afternoon I continued my journey north to Scotland for a few much needed days off with my family and best friend and then attend the screening of "NEVADA" at Glasgow Film Festival 2013 on the Tuesday - NEVADA screening blog post to follow!

HIGH TEASE AND BOOTSALES!

I have been a little slack on the old Blog front of late as I am still up to my neck on getting the new house in shape! It's getting there, but it a hard slog! I am also working on the launch of a 2nd business (more details coming soon) so all my spare time is getting eaten up!

So on the 25th of January I headed to Bath (Dave joined me too for a nice change!) and we spent the day wandering around the charity shops, book shops and sweetie shops of  Bath!

That evening I was performing at the Ministry of Burlesque's "High Tease" at the Komedia. It is always a very busy, lively event with fab line ups, this one was no different! I was performing alongside Dusty Limits, Josephine Shaker, Elsie Diamond, Marvela MaeFayre and The Bastard Son Of Tommy Cooper!

I then enjoyed getting home after the gig to my own bed and heading to the carboot sale early the next morning! Here are some of my top finds from that bootsale!
