BIKER SHOW!

Last night I was performing at the Welsh International Motorcycle Show 2011 in Builth Wells alongside fellow performer Keda Breeze. I traveled to Bristol to meet Keda and then we had a two hour road trip to the show. It was a rock n' roll, spit n' sawdust sort of gig in a huge industrial unit for a bunch of big hairy bikers! We had fun and the bikers were super sweet and lovely, chasing us for photos & autographs after!

As we were performing in an "adult" bar within the festival there were some other "interesting" attractions, such as a wet t.shirt competition and a huge "Rodeo Cock"!! It was quite funny watching big macho bikers ride that!!

After the long drive home to Bristol I stayed over in Keda's amazing house! It feature the most beautiful 250 year old, hand painted wallpaper! Here is a snap I took of it:

When I got home this afternoon I was shattered! but still in the mood of a little bit of easy baking, so I decided to make some "Mr Men" packet cupcakes!

GYPSY CARAVAN SHOOT!

Today I had shoot with the lovely Lisa (www.candeephotography.co.uk) in an amazing vintage Gypsy Caravan! I discovered this little gem last summer and have been dying to do a shoot with it since, so have been so looking forward to today! The weather was GRIM and rained on and off but we worked around it and I know we have got some cracking shots! I look forward to seeing the final results soon. In the mean time here are some behind the scenes shots from the day!

20TH CENTURY FOXY SUMMER SHOOT!

On Wednesday  I jumped an early train to Huddersfield to shoot the summer collection for the wonderful  www.20thcenturyfoxy.com. I always love these shoots as they are so relaxed and friendly. We all know each other well as we have been shooting together for 2 years now, so it is always loads of fun! Plus Clare (Foxy's Creator & director) always puts on the best spread at lunch time!!

Here are some behind the scenes shots from the day and a couple of previews of the official shots!

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS IN THE HOMELAND!

Phew! What a busy two weeks I've had! I have been taking snap shots along the way so enjoy!

On the 6th May I took the long train journey (6 hours!) to Edinburgh for a long over due visit to the homeland! I was greeted by my precious Mama and we went straight to have a Shellac Manicure (my new obsession!) afterwards we headed home were my Papa had prepared an amazing BBQ!

King of the BBQ!
The next day Sat 7th May I was performing for the fabulous Vegas! club night at Paisley Town Hall. The venue was amazing and huge inside, always a treat to have a nice big stage!

On Sun 8th May Leyla Rose & myself  ran one of our workshops at The Bongo Club in Edinburgh, it was an AWFUL day weather wise and we were so grateful for the girls coming out in it to get to us! It was a fab class and we had a lot of fun, unfortunately I forgot to take a photo! After, Leyla and I treated ourselves to a lovely Tapas meal!

On Monday I had a lovely and productive day shooting with Loraine Ross. We got through loads of looks and even got some nice weather to shoot on location at Lauiston Castle. Here are a couple of shots from the shoot! I look forward to seeing the rest!

I then enjoyed the rest of the week off with friends and family to celebrate my 26th Birthday a little early. It was really lovely to catch up with everyone and spend some quality time with everyone. Here are some shots from a day spent in Edinburgh with my Mama!

On 12th May it was my Papa's Birthday and we celebrated with joint birthday Cup Cakes and I later took him to see "Thor" which I really enjoyed!

The highlight of the my week away was a day and night spent at the Marine Hotel & Spa in North Berwick with my parents and best gal Ruth. It was a joint Birthday treat for my Papa & Me! I was such an indulgence to spend time in the Spa and then a lovely 3 course meal and champagne to top it all off! Ruth took some lovely shots to document the occasion see below (the lovely black & white ones!).

The next morning after an amazing night sleep in the HUGE hotel bed, we enjoyed a hearty breakfast and then spent the afternoon wandering around the beach and trawling the charity shops and bookshops!

The next day I took the long journey home to Cheltenham so I could spend my actual Birthday with my Magic Dave!

16th May was my 26th Birthday!! Dave treated me to breakfast at my fave place "The Curious Cafe" and then we spent the day in Stroud wandering around and looking in more charity shops! On the way home we stopped to pet some pregnant pigs!!

My perfect day was topped off with a lovely Indian meal with Sarah, James & Dave and my SECOND birthday cake!!

The boys decorate Poppadoms!

Thanks Mama & Papa for these beauties!

PERFECT!
