This weekend turned out nicely after a gutting contract termination (including dates this weekend) that myself and Cherry Shakewell had been looking forward to and working towards for two months. Unfortunately these things happen in this line of work but it never gets any easier.

My parents made an impromptu visit and we went to view a house that Dave and I have been looking at (as we are planning to buy our first house! Exciting!). I was also delighted to be welcomed back to the wonderful Ministry of Burlesque's touring show "The Burlesque Show" at the beautiful Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham for the second time on Sunday night!

It was fab show, full house and wonderful line up including, Kitty Klaw, Elle Amore, Lili La Scala, Mia Merode, Elan Koszuk, Elliot Mason, Coco Malone & This is Elvis! It was great to see some old faces and meet some new ones!

After the show I dashed over to the Big Top at the "Cheltenham Jazz Festival" were we heard the last 5 songs of Imelda May's set and had a quick catch up with my lovely friends Al, Saff and little cutie Lula!

My handsome man Dave has started writing a blog "Magic Moments" about his adventures as a drummer and drum tech, go check it out here:
